Advocacy for the Underserved and Injured Scholarship

Do you believe in the transformative impact of advocacy for those who have been injured or marginalized? If so, we invite you to participate in our essay contest and share your insights on how advocacy can drive meaningful change for underserved communities.

In an 800-word essay, examine the experiences of individuals who have suffered injuries or live with disabilities, the advocacy efforts that aim to improve their quality of life and promote inclusivity, and the challenges that prevent marginalized groups from accessing essential services, opportunities, and rights.

Scholarship Details

  • Essay Topic: Advocacy for the Underserved and Injured
  • Award Amount: $1,000
  • Essay Length: 800 words

Eligibility Criteria

  • Open to students currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program, or community college in the United States.
  • High school students who have been accepted to an accredited college or university are also eligible to apply by providing their acceptance letter to a university or college.
  • Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 0 scale.

Application Requirements

To be considered for the Advocacy for the Underserved and Injured Scholarship, applicants must submit the following:

  • Resume: Include your contact information for communication purposes.
  • Academic Transcript: Provide an official or unofficial transcript reflecting your cumulative GPA.
  • Original Essay: Submit a well-researched and compelling 800-word essay on “Advocacy for the Underserved and Injured.”

  • Deadline: All application materials must be submitted by February 10, 2026.
  • How to Apply: Send your materials via email to web@lawyersforinjuryclaims.com with the subject line:
    “MBJ Scholarship Application – [Your Full Name]”
  • Essay Format: Submit your essay as a PDF file, using the following naming convention:
    Firstname Lastname_Advocacy for the Underserved and Injured.
  • Important Note: Submissions that do not follow the specified format may not be considered.

The scholarship recipient will be notified via email.
